ABOUT INNERFIRE MINISTRIES

Our mission is to inspire Christians to live the Word. We provide resources that help Christians live out their faith in every facet of life.

ABOUT SCOTTY CARROLL

Hello, friend!  I am Scotty Carroll, the president of Innerfire Ministries. I have been married to my lovely wife Johnna since 1992, and we have been in some form of ministry for most of those twenty-nine years. Along the way, we raised three children and now have two wonderful daughters-in-law and a great son-in-law. To our delight, we also now have two little granddaughters, two grandsons, and one more on the way!

I was born and raised a farm boy in Northwest Florida and then attended Florida State University, where I obtained a degree in electrical engineering.  I served four years on active duty in the Air Force before starting an engineering career in the private sector. About ten years ago, I started an engineering services company called Echo Power Engineering, with a partner, and am still active in running that business.

Along the way, I have served as a bi-vocational music minister, served as a deacon, taught Sunday School, traveled the Southeast with a music group, attended seminary, and served as a bi-vocational pastor. In all these things, I have found God faithful. That is not to say the road has always been easy, but trials develop character and strengthen your reliance on Jesus.

Johnna and I currently make our home in Westmoreland, Tennessee.  When I am not working on my business or the ministry, I look forward to riding my tractor and being out on the farm enjoying the outdoors. Johnna and I also love to travel, hike our great national parks, and camp.

ABOUT JOHNNA CARROLL

My name is Johnna Carroll, and I love being a ministry leader with Innerfire! I have enjoyed being in several forms of ministry over the past twenty-nine years: choir director, singing group member, Sunday School teacher, life group leader, and even pastor’s wife. Serving the Lord has been sweet, and I wouldn’t take anything for the journey the Lord has given me. I have been ultra-blessed to be married to the love of my life, Scotty Carroll. We have three wonderful adult children and our family has been growing, to our delight! We are the proud parents of Hannah and husband, Matthew; Jacob and wife, Josie; and Andrew and wife, Courtnee. We have two wonderful little granddaughters, Flora Jane and Margaret; two grandsons, Beau and Robert; and one more on the way! We are a very close family and love to be together whenever we can. To us, family time is the absolute best time!

I have a bachelor’s degree in Spanish education and a master’s degree in learning and design, but I spent most of my adult years homeschooling our children. We had a wonderful experience and are so glad we did it. I love to talk homeschooling to anyone who is interested. Personally, I enjoy being a homemaker and all thing home-related. I also enjoy reading and traveling. Scotty and I both enjoy hiking and camping, and one of our favorite places to visit is Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We love nothing better than to sit by the campfire after a long hike with a fresh cup of coffee.

ABOUT ANDREW CARROLL

My name is Andrew Carroll, and I am the Ministry Development Leader at Innerfire. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of six, and my life has been dedicated to Him ever since. Having been raised in a musical family, I have always been a musician at heart. I decided to make music my primary focus in high school, taking piano and voice lessons and arranging. I went on to receive a degree in Music and Worship from Lee University, where I had the privilege of singing in the elite a cappella ensemble Voices of Lee. It was also at Lee that I met my amazing wife, Courtnee. The Lord has blessed Courtnee and I with a precious son named Robert, and the three of us live in Westmoreland, Tennessee.

I am a lover of coffee, tea, sweet vocal harmonies, and thought-provoking movies. There are few things I love to do more than to sit down with a friend or family member and dive into a deep and intriguing subject. The Lord has given me a thirst for knowledge and wisdom, and I hope to share what I am learning from Him through this wonderful ministry.
